AKRON, Ohio — Afterlife Nightclub's Master of Tributes show on Saturday, October 10, 2026 brought a lineup of heavy-music tribute acts to the Goodyear Boulevard venue. Summit County Concerts photographed two bands on the bill: Maiden America and Sanitarium.
Maiden America celebrates the music of Iron Maiden, the British heavy-metal group recognized for its harmonized guitar work, driving rhythms and distinctive theatrical imagery. Sanitarium brings the music of Metallica into the tribute-show setting, drawing on the legacy of one of metal's best-known bands. The pairing put two landmark sounds in heavy music on the same Akron stage.
The venue's official announcement also listed Wonkzillaz, billed as a Rob Zombie tribute, as part of the evening's lineup. This report and the accompanying photo gallery specifically cover Maiden America and Sanitarium, the two sets photographed for Summit County Concerts.
Photographer Mason Bybee documented those performances for our growing live-music archive. His concert images will be added to this page as the edited files are uploaded, building a visual record of the musicians and their time onstage at Afterlife Nightclub.
